Experience with us
What we have on site:
Some of the most memorable experiences happen without leaving your dome. Soak in your private wood-fired hot tub, watch the stars appear overhead, or unwind by the fire with a glass of wine. Mornings are for coffee, quiet, and listening to the forest wake up.
This is where time stretches — and stress fades.

Wild life
Sunnd Eco Resort is located in the heart of Northern Ontario’s wilderness,
where wildlife is part of the natural rhythm of the land. Guests may encounter
deer, foxes, porcupines, snowshoe hares, birds of prey, and occasionally larger
animals moving through the surrounding forest.
These moments are special — and they are meant to be observed quietly and
respectfully from a distance.
Thank you for helping us preserve this experience.
Respecting Wildlife
For the safety of both animals and guests, wildlife must never be fed,
approached, called, or encouraged onto the decks or near the domes. Feeding wildlife changes their natural behaviour, creates safety risks, and can lead to animals becoming dependent on human interaction.
Important Policy
If guests are found feeding wildlife, attempting to attract animals, or
encouraging animals onto decks or near structures:
• Guests may be asked to leave the property immediately without
refund
• Guests may be held liable for any damage caused as a result of
careless or negligent behavior, including tears or damage to dome
structures, furnishings, or property
• Repeated or serious violations may result in removal from future
bookings
Our Philosophy
Sunnd exists to protect and share the North — not to interfere with it.
Observing wildlife respectfully allows these animals to remain wild, safe, and part of this ecosystem for generations to come.

Known for warmer waters and a relaxed beach atmosphere, Batchawana Bay is ideal for swimming, picnicking, and slow afternoons by the lake.
Bathtub Island
A local favourite with smooth rock formations that create natural “bathtubs” warmed by the sun. A playful, one-of-a-kind spot that feels like a hidden gem.
Batchawana Falls

Stoney Beach

A scenic hike leading to elevated views of Lake Superior and the surrounding wilderness. A rewarding spot for photos, quiet moments, and deep breaths.
Chippewa Falls It is a rugged, roadside waterfall tucked into the Boreal forest along HWY 17N. Fed by cold Northern waters, it rushes over dark rock ledges, offering a raw, untamed glimpse of Northern Ontario's wild beauty. Especially powerful in the Spring and after heavy rains
Local Artisans We Love
Moon & Mana
We have made some custom candles with them and we are in love with how they turned out. If you enjoy them, they can be purchased as an add on
Enjoy a beautiful pour over coffee with their medium & dark roast blends while you sit by the lake. Their coffee can also be purchased if you enjoy your cuppa and want to bring some home.
These are a family & friends owned and operated business from Batchawana Bay and we loved their products so much so that we decided that everyone should try it. We put a bottle in the domes for each of our guests to try and take home as our gift to you!

How a 2-day itinerary can look
Day 1 — Arrive & Unwind
Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your dome as the forest quiets around you. Light the fire and ease into your wood-fired hot tub as the day fades.
If you feel like a short outing, take an evening walk along the shores of Pancake Bay or Hibbard Bay Beach before returning for a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 2 — Slow Living & Nature
Wake naturally and enjoy a quiet morning coffee with local treats. Spend the day exploring Batchawana Bay Provincial Park, Bathtub Island, or one of the nearby waterfalls like Batchawana Falls or Chippewa Falls.
Return in the afternoon to rest, read, or nap. As evening arrives, light the fire, soak again, and let the stillness settle in.
Day 3 — A Gentle Goodbye
Enjoy one last slow morning before a short stop at Lake Superior Provincial Park or Stoney Beach.
